At a young age I fell in love with the beauty industry and knew that I wanted to be a hairstylist. My life took me on many different paths that didn’t allow me to settle down and attend cosmetology school. After having my daughter, my husband and I decided to put down roots in Granbury. It was then I knew it was my time to live out my lifelong dream. I immediately took the opportunity to enroll in Cosmetology school. While in school I was told early on that I had a natural talent for this industry. This natural talent quickly earned me the Star Student title. Once I completed 6 months of cosmetology school, I wanted to begin learning more advanced skills of color and hair cutting techniques. So, while continuing cosmetology school I also started apprenticing with a local salon. These skills took me to where I am today as a salon owner. I believe that in a world of dreams you are never too old or young to follow them.

P.J. began working with men’s hair in Paradise California at the age of 12. In 2020 California’s economy was no longer a place he could continue to raise a family in. Forcing him out of the only state he’s ever known, he found refuge in Granbury Texas with his wife and kids. P.J. is experienced in all hair textures, colors, and lengths including traditional and contemporary styles; eager to master what’s new. His philosophy is: when you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you do good. As P.J.’s client you may rest assured, sitting in his chair means your hair and beard will be trimmed efficiently and with great scrutiny. His goal is to learn your style, perfect it, and help you achieve it daily with minimal effort. Investing in P.J. as your barber is an investment in yourself and appreciation of what you bring to the table.
Rachel Rose

Rachel is a native Texan, born and raised. She grew up in the Fort Worth area and studied at Ogle Cosmetology school. Her love for working with hair started with practicing braids and updo on her sisters when she was young. This led her to pursue a career in cosmetology, working toward specializing in special occasion updos and curly hair. After graduation from Hair School, she completed an in-salon internship of 6 months with us before becoming a stylist to master her skills and now she is flourishing as a stylist. We are so exited to see where her hair journey takes her.

Mindy has recently relocated to Granbury from Corpus Christi. She has 11 years experience in the hair industry. She was a master stylist at JCPenney Salon before starting her own business in 2019. She built her career on doing Color Corrections and considers herself a master at that service. She loves continued education and is fully educated and up to date in all of the latest hair trends. She offers the latest trends including Air Touch Balayage, Grey Blending & Customized Vivid Coloring. She is also certified in Brazilian Blowout. We are so excited to have Mindy part of our team with her experience and the specialized services she's bringing with her to better serve our clients.
Serena Garcia

Serena is a native Texan. She spent a lot of her younger years moving around. After graduating high school, she was ready to pursue the dream she was waiting for. In cosmetology school she really fell in love with the industry and knew her career would be best molded for her future if she apprenticed. She found a very educational driven salon and spent the next year learning and procuring her talents. Serena even became licensed in eyelash extensions. This drew her focus to the face and found another love for eyebrow work. As she says, "Eyebrows are the path to the soul". She has now decided to land in our salon to start her journey and we can't wait to watch her grow.

Victoria comes to us from a plethora of long-time talent and experience. The industry is completely in here genes, Starting with her mother, a hairstylist and salon owner. At a young age she began doing hair and makeup for her trick riding and rodeo team. This background inspired Victoria to venture into her own career as hairstylist. Victoria not only believes in the excitement of this industry, but she also believes that her journey will always continue as she stays steadfast in dreaming BIG and staying focused.
Cris Evertson

Cris was born in California and lived in many different states before settling as a Texan. She truly began as a flight attendant traveling all over the world. While her journey showed her some amazing parts of the world, she knew the beauty industry was where her heart was. She began her beauty career in makeup, doing photo shoots for the fashion industry of JCPenney’s. After her amazing start she decided to put down roots as a 23-year career Stylist and Manager for JCPenney Salons. She now has over 25 years and growing every day in her career. Cris specializes in women's short haircuts. She also became a Master Stylist with experience in color corrections, all color services including highlights, balayage and even perms. As a well-rounded long time, stylist Cris can do all genders and ages in hair. We are so excited to have her as a part of our family and can’t wait for you to sit in her chair.
Marina Avalos

Marina was born in Mexico and has lived in Granbury for a very long time. Her husband owns La Feista and she is a very well-respected stylist in town. As our bilingual stylist she gives The Hair Company the ability to help the Spanish community. Marina started her career 34 years ago; she was even a salon owner. But not just any salon owner she was actually The Hair Company’s previous owner. She’s never wanted to work anywhere else, and we are thankful to have her here to give us the knowledge she has learned to help grow our new journey. Marina has experience in all aspects of hair needs and there isn’t a job she can’t handle.
